Makena Bay Designs is named after a special place — Makena Beach in southern Maui. The beach holds sentimental value, as it’s where Makena’s parents tied the knot.

Makena is a full-time mental health therapist in Duluth, Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys channelling her creativity into custom artwork. Along with painting, Makena is an avid movie-watcher, food-eater, and cat-lover.
